HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY, MOTHER

first blog post in a really long time, and it’s for Mother’s Day because you’ve wanted me to blog lately. so yes. as i’ve told you many times, i consider you to be one of my best friends and favorite people to talk to, and i really hope i’m like you when i grow up. i know we didn’t really do anything today but there’s still Swedish Mother’s Day coming up and i hope you had a nice day anyway, even though you didn’t get to go to Pripyat.

i never update anymore

and i’m sorry about that, anybody that reads my blog. i have seriously moved over to Tumblr even though Tumblr is like for a different purpose entirely. i don’t really BLOG there, not like i do here.
anyway, i am now 17 years of age. i saw MCR yesterday and it was honestly one of the greatest experiences of my life, i think. it was absolutely amazing. seeing them in real life… just like, there… and they were such good performers… i miss it, dude. and i got a t-shirt and a poster, so yay.
i also got some excellent presents. hooray!
17 17 17. so weird. one more year until i am an ADULT. legally, an ADULT. it’s funny because i wanted to be 18 so badly when i was like 15 and i calculated the exact number of days until then, and it was over 900 (but not 9000) and now it’s 364. that’s not very long, really. one year goes by very quickly.
speaking of that, we still haven’t made a decision. we will have one made by March 31st, cause we have to. but yeah.
okay, now i have to get ready for this little birthday shindig i’m having. i have things to do. i am just so lazy.

i only blogged a few times in January. rawwwr. and this is the first time in February.

we have made the decision that we are traveling to Bangkok this Sports Break. that’s in a little over two weeks. we’re leaving the Friday before the break begins. i’m actually excited about it because it’s going to be super warm, there are a lot of American chains there that aren’t in Sweden, we’re going to have an awesome hotel, Thai food is amazing, and also shopping. hooray! i’m going to Aaasiaaaa!

i don’t really know what else to say. i spend a lot more time on Tumblr than i do blogging here now.

i’m doing the 60-Day Challenge on Facebook but i’m sucking cause i keep skipping days all the time. it’s fun, though. i love things like that a lot. i’m also doing a 10-day one on Tumblr.

two more months

until my birthday and seeing one of my favorite bands in the world live for the first time. exactly two months.

also, i’ve gotten hooked on Tumblr now. www.meggerdoodles.tumblr.com in case you’re interested in seeing lots of random pictures from the internet that i post and the occasional pictures i took myself. i knew that once i started actually actively using Tumblr i’d get addicted.

i don’t really know what else to say. school’s pretty boring lately. i really need my hair cut, my split ends are getting ridiculous. that’s about the extent of interesting things in my life right now. hoorah.

being back at school suuuucks. my break was pretty much just a lot of staying up too late, sleeping too late in an attempt to compensate, playing Wii, hanging out with people, and the internet. and i was totally content with that.

christmas was excellent <3

i have all sorts of exciting other things including Sweeney Todd on DVD, two new bottles of nail polish, a metal robot i’m in love with, a stuffed hedgehog, Reese’s, other various candy, and many other amazing things. also lots of money from my relatives. and my family members loved their presents from me, so that’s good. i was really excited to give them their gifts.

but, most importantly:

yesss. instead of any individual big presents this year, we got a large family present of a Wii, including Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, and also Wii Fit. All of which are really really fun.

ooh, guess whaaat. my dad just bought Zelda: Twilight Princess. i’m flipping exciiiiteeeed. i love love love Zelda <3

anyway, it was a very fabulous Christmas <3

make my wish come true

today was the official first day of the Christmas break! :D we went Christmas shopping at Kista and it was great fun. just 3 days before Christmas, 2 for everyone besides my family actually, because we’re cool like that. yesterday was a really fun day as well; it was the day of the avslutning. i love chilling with my homies ^^
anyways, i already know what we’re getting for Christmas. instead of lots of presents we’re just buying a big family present, and that present is a Wii! yaaay! and the package we’re getting comes with like Wii Fitness and that fitness floor thing and eeeverything which is fabulous. i didn’t think i wanted a Wii but yes actually i do.
i will blog after Christmas telling of the amazing things i’ll have received, and also i’ll blog when a decision has been made regarding our future. but i can say one thing conclusively; we’ve signed a contract for one specific apartment in Sundyberg which is currently under construction. this doesn’t mean we’ll stay but it means that we have a place to live if we decide to. it’s in a cute, suburban neighborhood and it’s extremely close to Sundybergs Centrum which is cool, and also really close to the library and the pendeltåg… so i have hope. while it might not be the smarter decision (and we have no idea which is the smarter decision, so many things to consider) staying in Sweden is definitely what i’m pushing for. but i know i’ll be fine if we go. really sad to leave, of course, but we all will be. and i know i’ll come back.
buuut no need to put too much thought into that right now; a decision has yet to be made.
now i shall watch Grey’s Anatomy.
