I’M IN AMERICAAA. Day 1/2 and 1.

AND IT’S REALLY FREAKING WEIRD.

i mean, it’s not as surreal as it’s been, but it’s still just. I DON’T FIT IN HERE ANYMORE. I AM TOO MUCH OF A SWEDE.

and i have SUCH jetlag. from flying yesterday.

we got in here yesterday at like 5:something and got our rental car. the bus to the rental car place, look. the manager on duty.

tim burton. amazing, right?

and we listened to 93.3 <3333

and then we ate at sonic :3

 

i got a wacky pack :D

 

with a grilled cheese,

tots,

 

and a cherry dr. pepper :D

it was amazing on so many levels.

and then we went to the hotel, which was nice, and fell asleep at EIGHT PM. before that, even. it was craaazy. and then all four of us woke up in the morning at like 4:30 am, naturally, so we all just got up and got ready XD it was so freaking awesome. and then after we got ready and left and stuff we went and ate breakfast at cracker barrel,

 

and i got oatmeal and a muffin there

and it was fun, but omggg it’s so DIFFERENT here because like. in sweden, they really let you take your time eating. they don’t bring you your ticket for a VERY long time; in fact, you often have to ask for it. bringing it early would actually be considered rude, because it’s almost like asking you to leave the restaurant, or something. here, no. not so much. we had been eating our food for literally less than ten minutes when the waitress (who i might add was ridiculously overly friendly) came back asking if we wanted a BOX for the food we hadn’t yet eaten, and BRINGING US OUR TICKET. not even TEN MINUTES. it was SO funny, the mentality is just so different here.

just to indicate how beautiful the views out the win       dows driving through colorado are, in this area, and many other areas actually:

at least the mountains are pretty. i’ll give colorado that much credit.

and then we went to suburbiaaaa! :D the neighborhood i used to live in.

i have no idea where these pictures went, but i had a picture of my house, and also a picture of a sign that said something was “coming fall 2007.” those photos are gone. :(

now i am with aaavalon and reillyyyy :D

 

  

avalon and i went to boulder <3 we went to pearl street with her mom and sister and looked in shops and got falafel. and also went to world market, which is an international store. it was fuuuun. and then later we went to reilly’s dad’s house for a while, and then i came back with avalon to her house and then i went and bought THE FREAKING BEST LAPTOP IN THE WORLD <333333333

i’m using it right now. it’s incredible. honestly, i’m in love.

and this is avalon’s freaking, freaking creepy furby with all the fur taken off.

it is THE scariest thing EVER.
