this is beautiful, right? the prettiest blue sky ever, with the sun actually OUT. it looks like it might possibly be the day on which all the snow melts and whatnot.

noooo, sir. i woke up to a text from my friend floop informing me that it was negative 22 degrees Celsius outside. Negative. 22. Degrees.

i had my dad verify that on his iTouch and sure enough. negative 22 freaking degrees. americans, that is negative 8 Fahrenheit. in a humid country.

the trains were failing miserably today, especially the ones that weren’t underground. you couldn’t get further than like thorlidsplan on the green line, which ruined my plans of going to richard’s house today ): (i realize it is a monday, i was going to see him because it’s the year anniversary of the first time i went to his house </3 yes, i keep track of these things. XD) literally everyone was late today. everyone. the trains that were working, like mine, were slow as crap.

look at the height of snow on my balcony. just look at that. my balcony is like a swimming pool of snow. it would suck to be a smoker right now.

compare the height of that snow to the height of my cat. this is a result of mass amounts of snow and wind over the weekend.

that wood thing you see is the corner of the only chair that isn’t completely buried at the moment.

that would be the top of the balcony.

one year and one day ago

on the 19th of february 2009, i wrote in my journal:

“I want to go to the moon. I want to take Sarah, Avalon, Reilly, my family, 9en, and Ryan Ross, and go live on the moon for about a year. Or maybe just a month. But I want to.

I pretty much just want to go to space. Just to see what it’s like. To float around and be like, whee! It’s freezing, I can’t breathe, and I can’t hear anything! And it’s freaking dark!

If I was immortal, I would do so much stuff. Like, jump off of crap all the time, like buildings and stuff.”

it’s really fun, as it turns out. it’s also really cold and makes your legs kinda sore. but it’s so, so fun. SO fun. omg.

i went with gunay, mateo, and natalia from my class. it was sports day and that’s what we signed up for, but there was no teacher there or anything, so i’m not really sure what the point was. also, nobody else from our class or from any other class in kungsholmen showed up, as far as i know.

but it was SO fun <3

i just received news that i need to improve on updating my blog.

tomorrow is sports day. first i’m ice skating, which i’m excited for, i LOVE ice skating. and then i’m technically supposed to fence but i probably won’t because it’s annoyingly long after ice skating is… i mean it’s a long time between when ice skating ends and fencing begins. and it’s 50 kr. and i just don’t want to, and i think it’ll be just fine if i don’t go, lots of people aren’t going to their things.

i’m getting sick of the massive amount of work. it always piles up so much before breaks.

on the break i’m going to malta for the first couple days btw. i’m actually pretty excited to cause i’ve never been there and it’ll be warmer than it is here and yeah :D

the city we’re going toooo. st. julians.

in other news, my birthday is in 29 days. this is very exciting to me. :D being 16 will be amaaaziiiing <3 even though i don’t get my license here or anything like that, it still just feels like a passage into like. older teenager-hood or something. 16 gets a lot more respect than 15.

and plus, that means there are only 2 years until i’m 18 :D

i’d just like to say something very quickly.

I AM SO. SICK. OF WINTER.

i mean, YES, it’s SO pretty when the snow has just fallen and it’s white all over everything and everything is just varying shades of grey, and actually it getting dark early is nice. but seriously, it’s the coldest winter in ages here, the coldest winter i’ve ever experienced in my life. it’s hit, like, –15 degrees Celsius or something? maybe lower? who can be sure? it’s just been REALLY REALLY REALLY COLD. and it’s been SNOWING so MUCH.

and i’m getting quite sick of this crap. stockholm, please stop it.

and also, my mom’s about to have a complete breakdown. like, literally. she has seasonal affective disorder.

normally it snows like 3 times in the winter and it stops snowing by like january. noooope, not this year!!

but today it was really sunny out and the sky was clear :D which meant it was also colder than it’s been for the last couple days, but it was also just really nice to see the actual sun and whatnot.
